Investing.com – Poland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Warsaw, the lost 1.86%.
The best performers of the session on the were Enea SA (WA:), which rose 4.43% or 0.49 points to trade at 11.54 at the close. Meanwhile, PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna SA (WA:) added 0.84% or 0.06 points to end at 7.41 and Allegro (WA:) was up 0.05% or 0.02 points to 37.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were KGHM Polska Miedz SA (WA:), which fell 5.43% or 7.55 points to trade at 131.40 at the close. Grupa Azoty SA (WA:) declined 3.35% or 0.62 points to end at 17.87 and Jastrzebska Spotka Weglowa SA (WA:) was down 3.18% or 0.84 points to 25.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 325 to 173 and 114 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 3.85% or 2.83 to $70.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 4.32% or 3.35 to hit $74.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.53% or 13.40 to trade at $2,514.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was up 0.29% to 4.28, while USD/PLN rose 0.59% to 3.88.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 101.79.
