Investing.com – Poland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Warsaw, the fell 2.50%.
The best performers of the session on the were Tauron Polska Energia SA (WA:), which rose 1.82% or 0.07 points to trade at 3.85 at the close. Meanwhile, CD PROJEKT SA (WA:) added 0.08% or 0.15 points to end at 189.45 and Dino Polska SA (WA:) was down 0.07% or 0.30 points to 402.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were mBank SA (WA:), which fell 6.16% or 35.00 points to trade at 532.80 at the close. BUDIMEX SA (WA:) declined 6.10% or 28.60 points to end at 440.40 and Jastrzebska Spotka Weglowa SA (WA:) was down 4.64% or 1.11 points to 22.81.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 390 to 167 and 81 ended unchanged.
Shares in BUDIMEX SA (WA:) fell to 52-week lows; down 6.10% or 28.60 to 440.40.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 2.15% or 1.52 to $69.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.47% or 1.09 to hit $72.82 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.53% or 14.19 to trade at $2,655.81 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was up 0.30% to 4.27, while USD/PLN rose 0.36% to 4.06.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 106.61.
