Meanwhile, Aeroflot (MCX:) added 8.31% or 4.35 points to end at 56.68 and Globaltrans Investment Gdr (MCX:) was up 7.95% or 39.55 points to 537.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sberbank Rossii PAO (MCX:), which fell 6.57% or 20.81 points to trade at 295.87 at the close. Sberbank Rossii OAO Pref (MCX:) declined 6.56% or 20.79 points to end at 295.99 and X5 Retail Group NV (MCX:) was 0.00% or 0.00 points to 2,798.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Moscow Stock Exchange by 227 to 23 and 2 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of MOEX Russia options, was down 16.12% to 26.06.
Gold Futures for August delivery was up 1.73% or 41.20 to $2,420.90 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 0.90% or 0.74 to hit $82.84 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract rose 0.01% or 0.01 to trade at $85.53 a barrel.
USD/RUB was unchanged 0.00% to 86.99, while EUR/RUB unchanged 0.00% to 94.55.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.54% at 104.16.
