Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the were Arabian Pipes Company (TADAWUL:), which rose 8.07% or 10.60 points to trade at 142.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (TADAWUL:) added 4.76% or 15.60 points to end at 343.60 and Makkah Construction&Development Co (TADAWUL:) was up 4.29% or 4.80 points to 116.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:), which fell 7.69% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.12 at the close. Al Taiseer Group TALCO Industrial Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:) declined 6.69% or 4.30 points to end at 60.00 and Arabian Cement Co (TADAWUL:) was down 4.76% or 1.35 points to 27.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 193 to 97 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Arabian Pipes Company (TADAWUL:) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 8.07% or 10.60 to 142.00. Shares in Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 7.69% or 0.01 to 0.12. Shares in Makkah Construction&Development Co (TADAWUL:) rose to 5-year highs; rising 4.29% or 4.80 to 116.80. Shares in Arabian Cement Co (TADAWUL:) fell to 3-years lows; falling 4.76% or 1.35 to 27.00.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 3.76% or 2.81 to $77.54 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 3.29% or 2.57 to hit $80.64 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.50% or 12.25 to trade at $2,464.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.31% to 4.07, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.54% at 103.76.
