Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the gained 0.48%.
The best performers of the session on the were CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:), which rose 10.00% or 2.70 points to trade at 29.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Ground Services Co (TADAWUL:) added 9.87% or 4.60 points to end at 51.20 and AYYAN Investment Co SJSC (TADAWUL:) was up 8.93% or 1.44 points to 17.56 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company (TADAWUL:), which fell 2.65% or 0.22 points to trade at 8.09 at the close. Saudi Industrial Export Co (TADAWUL:) declined 2.48% or 0.56 points to end at 21.98 and Nayifat Finance Co (TADAWUL:) was down 2.46% or 0.32 points to 12.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 190 to 97 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.32% or 0.26 to $79.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.53% or 0.44 to hit $81.86 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 6.85 to trade at $2,510.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.09% to 4.11, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 102.88.
