Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the gained 0.63%.
The best performers of the session on the were Al Taiseer Group TALCO Industrial Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.97% or 4.75 points to trade at 52.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Rasan Information Technology (TADAWUL:) added 8.70% or 5.30 points to end at 66.20 and Saudi Ceramic Co. (TADAWUL:) was up 6.46% or 1.80 points to 29.65 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:), which fell 7.69% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.12 at the close. Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (TADAWUL:) declined 4.02% or 1.30 points to end at 31.05 and Anaam International Holding Group (TADAWUL:) was down 3.10% or 0.04 points to 1.25.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 149 to 140 and 19 ended unchanged.

Shares in Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 7.69% or 0.01 to 0.12. Shares in Rasan Information Technology (TADAWUL:) rose to all time highs; rising 8.70% or 5.30 to 66.20.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.77% or 0.62 to $81.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.73% or 0.62 to hit $85.09 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.83% or 19.30 to trade at $2,332.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.23% to 4.02, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 105.48.
