Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.96% or 1.00 points to trade at 11.04 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Industrial Export Co (TADAWUL:) added 9.88% or 0.25 points to end at 2.78 and Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:) was up 7.14% or 0.01 points to 0.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Wataniya Insurance Company (TADAWUL:), which fell 4.92% or 1.60 points to trade at 30.90 at the close. Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL:) declined 4.53% or 2.05 points to end at 43.25 and Astra Industrial Group (TADAWUL:) was down 3.87% or 6.40 points to 159.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 192 to 101 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Industrial Export Co (TADAWUL:) rose to all time lows; up 9.88% or 0.25 to 2.78.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.84% or 0.58 to $69.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.83% or 0.60 to hit $73.30 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.03% or 26.10 to trade at $2,552.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.22% to 4.17, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 101.07.
