Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.95% or 9.70 points to trade at 107.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Middle East Specialized Cables Co (TADAWUL:) added 6.28% or 2.55 points to end at 43.15 and Almajed 4 Oud Company SJSC (TADAWUL:) was up 5.82% or 9.20 points to 167.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:), which fell 7.89% or 0.03 points to trade at 0.35 at the close. International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL:) declined 7.35% or 35.00 points to end at 441.00 and Al Hokair Group (TADAWUL:) was down 5.07% or 0.15 points to 2.81.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 169 to 118 and 30 ended unchanged.
Shares in Middle East Specialized Cables Co (TADAWUL:) rose to 5-year highs; rising 6.28% or 2.55 to 43.15.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.10% or 1.59 to $73.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.94% or 1.53 to hit $77.51 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.31% or 8.40 to trade at $2,667.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.23% to 4.10, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 103.00.
