Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Savola Group (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.89% or 2.75 points to trade at 30.55 at the close. Meanwhile, Arriyadh Development Co. (TADAWUL:) added 3.92% or 1.15 points to end at 30.50 and Bawan (TADAWUL:) was up 3.84% or 2.00 points to 54.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Almarai Company (TADAWUL:), which fell 4.27% or 2.60 points to trade at 58.30 at the close. Jahez International Company for Information Systems Technology SCJSC (TADAWUL:) declined 4.23% or 1.35 points to end at 30.55 and United Int Transportation Company (TADAWUL:) was down 3.71% or 2.90 points to 75.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 243 to 75 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Arriyadh Development Co. (TADAWUL:) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 3.92% or 1.15 to 30.50. Shares in Bawan (TADAWUL:) rose to 5-year highs; up 3.84% or 2.00 to 54.10.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.67% or 1.18 to $69.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.99% or 0.73 to hit $73.18 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.48% or 12.71 to trade at $2,657.29 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.17% to 3.94, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 106.67.
