Investing.com – Spain stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Madrid, the gained 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the were Puig Brands SA (BME:), which rose 3.63% or 0.70 points to trade at 19.82 at the close. Meanwhile, Enagas (BME:) added 2.18% or 0.29 points to end at 13.60 and Acciona (BME:) was up 1.26% or 1.50 points to 120.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were International Consolidated Airlines Group SA (BME:), which fell 1.51% or 0.04 points to trade at 2.54 at the close. Indra A (BME:) declined 1.34% or 0.23 points to end at 16.97 and Sacyr SA (BME:) was down 1.27% or 0.04 points to 3.11.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 112 to 84 and 25 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.93% or 25.55 to $2,734.25 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 1.69% or 1.21 to hit $70.53 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 1.66% or 1.26 to trade at $74.78 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.20% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.17% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 104.31.
