Investing.com – Spain stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Madrid, the fell 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the were Corporacion Acciona Energias Renovables SA (BME:), which rose 2.09% or 0.42 points to trade at 20.52 at the close. Meanwhile, Repsol (BME:) added 1.42% or 0.17 points to end at 12.15 and Caixabank SA (BME:) was up 1.25% or 0.06 points to 5.17 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sacyr SA (BME:), which fell 2.57% or 0.08 points to trade at 3.19 at the close. Indra A (BME:) declined 1.87% or 0.32 points to end at 16.83 and International Consolidated Airlines Group SA (BME:) was down 1.79% or 0.04 points to 2.25.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 113 to 69 and 31 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.03% or 0.80 to $2,670.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 4.39% or 3.08 to hit $73.18 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 4.15% or 3.07 to trade at $76.97 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.26% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP rose 0.86% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 101.80.
