Investing.com – Spain stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Madrid, the fell 1.90% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the were Fluidra (BME:), which rose 8.55% or 1.76 points to trade at 22.34 at the close. Meanwhile, Cellnex Telecom SA (BME:) added 4.29% or 1.38 points to end at 33.56 and Corporacion Acciona Energias Renovables SA (BME:) was up 1.49% or 0.29 points to 19.74 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Banco de Sabadell SA (BME:), which fell 5.61% or 0.11 points to trade at 1.84 at the close. Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria SA (BME:) declined 5.09% or 0.49 points to end at 9.21 and ArcelorMittal SA (BME:) was down 4.73% or 0.99 points to 19.96.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 135 to 51 and 35 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.66% or 16.40 to $2,489.40 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 0.83% or 0.65 to hit $77.26 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract fell 0.63% or 0.51 to trade at $80.33 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.30% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.32% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 104.12.
