Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the rose 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the were Boliden AB (ST:), which rose 1.33% or 4.00 points to trade at 305.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:) added 1.14% or 0.80 points to end at 71.08 and SAAB AB ser. B (ST:) was up 0.94% or 2.30 points to 242.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:), which fell 2.81% or 0.18 points to trade at 6.22 at the close. Sinch AB (ST:) declined 2.15% or 0.57 points to end at 25.95 and Essity AB B (ST:) was down 0.97% or 2.90 points to 297.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 409 to 342 and 77 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.45% or 1.88 to $78.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.00% or 1.59 to hit $81.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.18% or 29.30 to trade at $2,502.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.27% to 11.50, while USD/SEK rose 0.17% to 10.53.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 102.99.
