Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the rose 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the were Sinch AB (ST:), which rose 3.67% or 0.98 points to trade at 27.65 at the close. Meanwhile, ABB Ltd (ST:) added 1.74% or 10.20 points to end at 596.40 and Alfa Laval AB (ST:) was up 1.63% or 7.60 points to 474.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:), which fell 1.94% or 3.00 points to trade at 152.00 at the close. Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:) declined 1.82% or 5.20 points to end at 281.10 and Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:) was down 0.94% or 1.10 points to 116.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 424 to 347 and 90 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.07% or 1.62 to $76.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.82% or 1.50 to hit $80.90 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.44% or 10.65 to trade at $2,405.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.11% to 11.68, while USD/SEK rose 0.45% to 10.77.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 104.18.
