Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the gained 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:), which rose 3.60% or 2.36 points to trade at 67.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:) added 2.16% or 0.13 points to end at 6.19 and Essity AB B (ST:) was up 1.76% or 4.80 points to 278.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:), which fell 1.46% or 1.50 points to trade at 100.95 at the close. Swedbank AB ser A (ST:) declined 1.42% or 3.10 points to end at 215.80 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:) was down 1.42% or 1.30 points to 86.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 391 to 386 and 76 ended unchanged.
Shares in Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:) rose to 52-week highs; up 3.60% or 2.36 to 67.90. Shares in Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:) fell to 3-years lows; down 1.42% or 1.30 to 86.90.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.07% or 0.89 to $82.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.94% or 0.81 to hit $85.73 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.45% or 34.85 to trade at $2,362.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.35% to 11.43, while USD/SEK rose 0.85% to 10.55.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 104.61.
