Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the added 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the were AstraZeneca PLC (ST:), which rose 1.66% or 26.50 points to trade at 1,622.50 at the close. Meanwhile, SAAB AB ser. B (ST:) added 1.18% or 2.50 points to end at 214.20 and ABB Ltd (ST:) was up 1.13% or 6.80 points to 609.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:), which fell 3.09% or 0.22 points to trade at 7.00 at the close. Evolution AB (ST:) declined 2.59% or 25.20 points to end at 946.80 and Tele2 AB (ST:) was down 2.42% or 2.75 points to 110.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 432 to 342 and 76 ended unchanged.
Shares in Evolution AB (ST:) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.59% or 25.20 to 946.80.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.37% or 1.79 to $73.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.23% or 1.76 to hit $77.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.49% or 13.05 to trade at $2,663.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.34% to 11.37, while USD/SEK rose 0.62% to 10.42.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 103.01.
