Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the added 0.44%.
The best performers of the session on the were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:), which rose 4.38% or 1.90 points to trade at 46.20 at the close. Meanwhile, SAAB AB ser. B (ST:) added 3.11% or 7.70 points to end at 253.50 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:) was up 2.64% or 4.40 points to 169.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sinch AB (ST:), which fell 9.41% or 2.49 points to trade at 23.98 at the close. Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:) declined 3.96% or 0.24 points to end at 5.79 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:) was down 1.40% or 1.30 points to 87.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 421 to 348 and 81 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.16% or 0.13 to $82.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.14% or 0.12 to hit $86.36 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.68% or 39.15 to trade at $2,372.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.38% to 11.32, while USD/SEK fell 0.89% to 10.48.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.48% at 104.90.
