Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the rose 0.54%.
The best performers of the session on the were Boliden AB (ST:), which rose 3.16% or 10.00 points to trade at 326.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:) added 2.14% or 4.00 points to end at 190.60 and SAAB AB ser. B (ST:) was up 2.13% or 5.20 points to 247.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:), which fell 5.24% or 0.38 points to trade at 6.79 at the close. Telia Company AB (ST:) declined 3.68% or 1.19 points to end at 31.13 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:) was down 0.72% or 1.20 points to 166.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 388 to 374 and 74 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 3.56% or 2.66 to $77.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 3.04% or 2.37 to hit $80.44 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.66% or 16.30 to trade at $2,468.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.36% to 11.59, while USD/SEK fell 0.39% to 10.72.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.35% at 103.95.
