Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the declined 0.56%.
The best performers of the session on the were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:), which rose 8.61% or 0.41 points to trade at 5.15 at the close. Meanwhile, AB SKF B (ST:) added 1.44% or 3.00 points to end at 211.90 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:) was up 1.38% or 2.10 points to 154.55 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:), which fell 12.97% or 25.30 points to trade at 169.40 at the close. NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:) declined 2.49% or 1.20 points to end at 45.50 and Electrolux AB Class B (ST:) was down 1.94% or 1.80 points to 88.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 425 to 341 and 88 ended unchanged.
Shares in NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:) fell to 3-years lows; down 2.49% or 1.20 to 45.50.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.51% or 0.41 to $81.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.40% or 0.34 to hit $84.81 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.07% or 24.85 to trade at $2,338.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.69% to 11.37, while USD/SEK rose 0.40% to 10.62.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 105.54.
