Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the fell 0.57%.
The best performers of the session on the were SAAB AB ser. B (ST:), which rose 3.54% or 7.70 points to trade at 223.60 at the close. Meanwhile, AstraZeneca PLC (ST:) added 2.16% or 34.00 points to end at 1,605.50 and ABB Ltd (ST:) was up 1.64% or 9.60 points to 595.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:), which fell 2.73% or 1.50 points to trade at 54.10 at the close. Swedbank AB ser A (ST:) declined 2.55% or 5.50 points to end at 209.80 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:) was down 1.58% or 2.45 points to 152.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 471 to 298 and 76 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 3.99% or 2.72 to $70.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 3.68% or 2.64 to hit $74.34 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.97% or 25.80 to trade at $2,685.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.60% to 11.38, while USD/SEK rose 1.22% to 10.28.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.45% at 100.98.
