Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the fell 0.61%.
The best performers of the session on the were Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:), which rose 7.01% or 7.15 points to trade at 109.20 at the close. Meanwhile, NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:) added 1.65% or 0.80 points to end at 46.20 and Electrolux AB Class B (ST:) was up 1.60% or 1.40 points to 87.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:), which fell 3.09% or 5.40 points to trade at 168.00 at the close. Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:) declined 3.04% or 6.10 points to end at 194.50 and Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:) was down 1.63% or 0.10 points to 6.22.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 443 to 318 and 95 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.11% or 1.68 to $81.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.61% or 1.35 to hit $85.08 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.04% or 0.95 to trade at $2,468.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.11% to 11.53, while USD/SEK fell 0.44% to 10.55.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 103.51.
