Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were SAAB AB ser. B (ST:), which rose 3.61% or 8.80 points to trade at 251.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Sinch AB (ST:) added 2.17% or 0.60 points to end at 28.25 and Sandvik AB (ST:) was up 1.21% or 2.60 points to 217.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:), which fell 3.74% or 10.50 points to trade at 270.60 at the close. AB SKF B (ST:) declined 3.23% or 6.50 points to end at 194.70 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:) was down 2.55% or 2.30 points to 87.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 455 to 307 and 88 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.01% or 0.78 to $77.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.99% or 0.80 to hit $81.81 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.63% or 15.20 to trade at $2,422.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was unchanged 0.04% to 11.68, while USD/SEK rose 0.06% to 10.77.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 103.96.
