Investing.com – Taiwan stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the were Hsin Ba Ba Corp (TW:), which rose 10.00% or 15.00 points to trade at 165.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Roundtop Machinery Industries Co Ltd (TW:) added 10.00% or 3.15 points to end at 34.65 and King’s Town Construction Co Ltd (TW:) was up 10.00% or 7.20 points to 79.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were EZconn Corp (TW:), which fell 9.97% or 48.00 points to trade at 433.50 at the close. Parpro Corp (TW:) declined 9.85% or 3.70 points to end at 33.85 and Lead Data Inc (TW:) was down 9.85% or 0.39 points to 3.57.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Taiwan Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Shares in Hsin Ba Ba Corp (TW:) rose to all time highs; gaining 10.00% or 15.00 to 165.00. Shares in King’s Town Construction Co Ltd (TW:) rose to all time highs; rising 10.00% or 7.20 to 79.20.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.04% or 0.03 to $78.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.06% or 0.05 to hit $82.42 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.74% or 17.45 to trade at $2,370.95 a troy ounce.
USD/TWD was up 0.22% to 32.81, while TWD/CNY unchanged 0.00% to 0.22.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 104.07.
