Meanwhile, Billion Electric Co Ltd (TW:) added 9.87% or 3.35 points to end at 37.30 and Sakura Development Co Ltd (TW:) was up 9.86% or 5.00 points to 55.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Logah Technology Corp (TW:), which fell 9.92% or 0.84 points to trade at 7.63 at the close. Lead Data Inc (TW:) declined 9.85% or 0.39 points to end at 3.57 and Avision Inc (TW:) was down 9.66% or 0.48 points to 4.49.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Taiwan Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.11% or 0.08 to $70.18 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.09% or 0.07 to hit $74.30 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.59% or 15.80 to trade at $2,690.70 a troy ounce.
USD/TWD was unchanged 0.01% to 32.55, while TWD/CNY unchanged 0.18% to 0.22.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 107.13.
