Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the rose 0.74%.
The best performers of the session on the were Katilimevim Tasarruf Finansman AS (IS:), which rose 10.00% or 4.22 points to trade at 46.42 at the close. Meanwhile, Peker Gayrimenkul Yatirim Ortakligi AS (IS:) added 9.94% or 0.54 points to end at 5.97 and SASA Polyester Sanayi AS (IS:) was up 4.65% or 2.04 points to 45.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tukas Gida Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:), which fell 4.06% or 0.39 points to trade at 9.21 at the close. Ard Grup Bilisim Teknolojileri AS (IS:) declined 3.72% or 1.44 points to end at 37.28 and Oba Makarnacilik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:) was down 3.33% or 1.32 points to 38.28.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 376 to 175 and 22 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 1.01% or 24.50 to $2,456.90 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September rose 1.24% or 0.93 to hit $76.16 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract rose 0.74% or 0.58 to trade at $78.91 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.16% to 33.48, while EUR/TRY fell 0.13% to 36.52.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 103.11.
