Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the gained 1.00%.
The best performers of the session on the were Aksa Akrilik Kimya Sanayi AS (IS:), which rose 6.15% or 7.90 points to trade at 136.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Bera Holding AS (IS:) added 5.67% or 1.02 points to end at 19.02 and EIS Eczacibasi Ilac Sinai ve Finansal Yatirimlar Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:) was up 5.11% or 2.55 points to 52.45 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tab Gida Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:), which fell 3.62% or 7.50 points to trade at 199.90 at the close. Hektas Ticaret TAS (IS:) declined 3.45% or 0.42 points to end at 11.77 and Sekerbank TAS (IS:) was down 2.78% or 0.12 points to 4.19.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 434 to 120 and 16 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for August delivery was down 0.15% or 3.40 to $2,335.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 0.28% or 0.23 to hit $83.61 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract rose 0.46% or 0.40 to trade at $87.00 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.17% to 32.57, while EUR/TRY fell 0.32% to 35.04.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 105.49.
