Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the gained 1.08%.
The best performers of the session on the were Gubre Fabrikalari TAS (IS:), which rose 5.87% or 10.30 points to trade at 185.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestel Beyaz Esya Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:) added 5.38% or 0.94 points to end at 18.40 and TAV Havalimanlari Holding (IS:) was up 5.34% or 11.50 points to 226.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Is Yatirim Menkul Degerler AS (IS:), which fell 2.35% or 0.76 points to trade at 31.60 at the close. Anadolu Efes Biracilik ve Malt Sanayi AS (IS:) declined 1.63% or 3.00 points to end at 181.20 and Reeder Teknoloji Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS (IS:) was down 1.54% or 0.34 points to 21.68.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 373 to 171 and 35 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.42% or 11.30 to $2,690.20 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 0.50% or 0.35 to hit $70.23 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 0.36% or 0.27 to trade at $73.98 a barrel.
USD/TRY was unchanged 0.00% to 34.17, while EUR/TRY fell 0.36% to 37.19.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 103.26.
