Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the gained 1.30%.
The best performers of the session on the were Pasifik Eurasia Lojistik Dis Ticaret AS (IS:), which rose 10.00% or 2.90 points to trade at 31.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik AS (IS:) added 6.91% or 6.70 points to end at 103.60 and Cvk Maden Isletmeleri Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:) was up 5.95% or 19.50 points to 347.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sekerbank TAS (IS:), which fell 4.81% or 0.24 points to trade at 4.75 at the close. MLP Saglik Hizmetleri AS (IS:) declined 2.76% or 11.00 points to end at 388.00 and Mavi Giyim Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS (IS:) was down 1.69% or 1.25 points to 72.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 430 to 132 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pasifik Eurasia Lojistik Dis Ticaret AS (IS:) rose to all time highs; rising 10.00% or 2.90 to 31.90.
Gold Futures for February delivery was up 1.16% or 31.56 to $2,749.36 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 1.02% or 0.80 to hit $77.91 a barrel, while the March Brent oil contract fell 1.01% or 0.83 to trade at $81.20 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.05% to 35.43, while EUR/TRY rose 0.36% to 36.60.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 108.86.
