Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the gained 1.50%.
The best performers of the session on the were 1000 Yatirimlar Holding AS (IS:), which rose 9.96% or 41.50 points to trade at 458.25 at the close. Meanwhile, Oba Makarnacilik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:) added 6.26% or 2.28 points to end at 38.68 and Yapi ve Kredi Bankasi AS (IS:) was up 5.96% or 1.80 points to 32.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Baticim Bati Anadolu Cimento Sanayi AS (IS:), which fell 6.00% or 11.10 points to trade at 173.80 at the close. Oyak Cimento Fabrikalari AS (IS:) declined 5.68% or 4.50 points to end at 74.75 and Otokar Otomotiv ve Savunma Sanayi AS (IS:) was down 3.03% or 18.50 points to 592.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 481 to 86 and 8 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.81% or 20.00 to $2,493.00 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 0.60% or 0.47 to hit $77.44 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract fell 0.38% or 0.31 to trade at $80.53 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.16% to 33.09, while EUR/TRY fell 0.35% to 35.79.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 104.17.
