Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, the declined 0.62%.
The best performers of the session on the were Anadolu Efes Biracilik ve Malt Sanayi AS (IS:), which rose 3.90% or 7.50 points to trade at 199.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Turkiye Sigorta AS (IS:) added 2.50% or 0.30 points to end at 12.29 and Aksa Enerji Uretim AS (IS:) was up 2.44% or 0.94 points to 39.54 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Katilimevim Tasarruf Finansman AS (IS:), which fell 5.89% or 3.30 points to trade at 52.70 at the close. Reeder Teknoloji Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS (IS:) declined 4.10% or 1.12 points to end at 26.20 and BIM Birlesik Magazalar AS (IS:) was down 3.93% or 22.00 points to 538.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 350 to 204 and 23 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.39% or 10.40 to $2,695.10 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 2.27% or 1.58 to hit $68.11 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 1.99% or 1.45 to trade at $71.45 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.15% to 34.16, while EUR/TRY rose 0.47% to 38.19.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 100.25.
