The worst performers of the session were Boeing Co (NYSE:), which fell 4.20% or 7.54 points to trade at 172.10 at the close. Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:) declined 2.46% or 0.53 points to end at 20.99 and Dow Inc (NYSE:) was down 1.75% or 0.94 points to 52.71.
The top performers on the S&P 500 were Palo Alto Networks Inc (NASDAQ:) which rose 7.18% to 368.01, Darden Restaurants Inc (NYSE:) which was up 3.65% to settle at 155.15 and PayPal Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:) which gained 3.54% to close at 71.89.
The worst performers were Insulet Corporation (NASDAQ:) which was down 6.87% to 182.47 in late trade, DexCom Inc (NASDAQ:) which lost 6.23% to settle at 72.85 and Phillips 66 (NYSE:) which was down 4.99% to 132.39 at the close.
The top performers on the NASDAQ Composite were Redhill Biopharma Ltd (NASDAQ:) which rose 2,622.74% to 8.74, Cadrenal Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:) which was up 1,686.87% to settle at 7.18 and InMed Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ:) which gained 191.22% to close at 0.43.
The worst performers were ENDRA Life Sciences Inc (NASDAQ:) which was down 59.51% to 0.66 in late trade, Mynaric AG ADR (NASDAQ:) which lost 56.22% to settle at 1.83 and Yoshiharu Global Co (NASDAQ:) which was down 34.78% to 4.80 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the New York Stock Exchange by 1878 to 930 and 111 ended unchanged; on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange, 2217 fell and 1108 advanced, while 122 ended unchanged.
Shares in PayPal Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:) rose to 52-week highs; up 3.54% or 2.46 to 71.89. Shares in Walmart Inc (NYSE:) rose to all time highs; up 1.13% or 0.83 to 74.55. Shares in ENDRA Life Sciences Inc (NASDAQ:) fell to all time lows; losing 59.51% or 0.97 to 0.66. Shares in Mynaric AG ADR (NASDAQ:) fell to all time lows; falling 56.22% or 2.35 to 1.83.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.53% or 13.40 to $2,554.70 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 0.64% or 0.47 to hit $73.19 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract fell 0.53% or 0.41 to trade at $77.25 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.40% to 1.11, while USD/JPY fell 0.91% to 145.24.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.50% at 101.22.
